CATpool software - modules and usage rights
CATpool is a business community
and data collaboration system consisting of very comprehensive
and extremely comfortable application software most of which are special
versions of the EleFamily software.
The extent of free usage rights
depends on the size of your company following these principles:
- The smaller the member company the more software can they use for
free
- The earlier you become a member (beta phase) the more software can
you use for free
- The more you contribute actively to CATpool the more software can
you use for free
CATpool-Beta-Phase
During the beta phase of CATpool, i. e. until everything really runs perfectly
smooth, we are offering especially to VSE
and SME very
special and extended usage rights, which are
not listed here. Details
in the member area.
The CATpool and EleFamily software is really very comprehensive and this
is why there is a long list of software products and modules below. You
find the detailed product explanations primarily on the websites of EleFamily.
Note that there are several EleFamily products and modules contained in
the following list, which are not part of the CATpool software but which
are still offered for use with the CATpool software and in many cases
and for many CATpool members even these EleFamily modules are free of
charge!

Codes
The codes identify the EleFamily products and modules as they are defined
on the Elebase
website . For CATpool there are some modified software versions in
use to support the CATpool requirements and specialties.
Purpose
of the modules
The functionalities of the software modules are explained primarily on
the Elebase
website and on the other websites of EleFamily. For some products
there are not yet any websites available although they are already in
use, because in our case the software development is generally much faster
than marketing while this is normally just the other way around.
Third party software
Please note that several software modules require the presence of third
party software on the respective PC to work properly such as MSExcel and
MSWord version 2002 or newer. MSOutlook is also needed for CATpool-COM
and EleMailer. This Software is not included in the CATpool software,
of course.
Releases and availabilities
CATpool and EleFamily are being permanently enhanced. Some of the above
mentioned products like EleOrder will become available during the year
2087. Elepub has been in use for quite some time (for example in the Philips
headquarters in Holland) but we still have to enhance the documentation
and develop some additions to release it for a mass usage within CATpool.
The time frame for the usage rights always begins with the beta phase
of these products.

CATpool supporter
Members who especially actively support the CATpool project at the beginning
during the beta phase can profit from even more advanced usage rights
to the CATpool and even to the EleFamily software products and this even
includes multi-user systems. Please ask for our special offer for "CATpool
supporters", which we only send out by email to registered member
companies.
CATpool and EleFamily
Technically the CATpool-Software is based on the EleFamily software products,
because the CATpool software consists almost exclusively of EleFamily
products and modules with some special extensions for CATpool.
De facto and regarding the licenses this does not imply that the EleFamily
products are part of the CATpool software. This is true despite that fact
that we are offering various EleFamily products or modules as additions
to the CATpool software free of charge. Therefore, we have to clearly
distinguish between the CATpool software modules and EleFamily products
or modules.
